Hello! We’re Amanda & Rishi and we are so glad you found us! As you get to know more about us, we hope you can feel the abundance of love we have for each other and the unwavering support that our families and extended community are ready to offer our future little one! We met in 2017 in Baltimore, MD volunteering for a local non-profit. We bonded over our love for spending time with family & friends, travel, food, sports, and more! Eight years, several career moves, and a move to Virginia later, we are ready and excited to grow our family!
About Us
With Amanda standing at 6 feet tall and Rishi at 6'3", they immediately caught each other's eye while in Baltimore back in 2017. Their first date was over breakfast and coffee, followed by a second date at an Orioles baseball game, where Rishi almost caught a home run! From there, their relationship grew and adventures continued! Scroll through some of our travels, with over 25 countries visited together so far!
Our Family
Family commitment is at the heart of who we are! We both come from close-knit families, both immediate and extended. As the eldest siblings, we've created countless memories and strong bonds with our younger sisters, from childhood right up to the present day. Where We Live
Amanda & Rishi live in a family-centric neighborhood called Old Trail Village in Crozet, VA. Located in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, we are 20 minutes from Charlottesville. All within the neighborhood and walking distance are several playgrounds, 7+ miles of walking trails, a swimming pool, a beautifully maintained golf course (that Rishi frequently enjoys!), a coffee shop, restaurants, and more. The neighborhood hosts many seasonal events and socials gatherings such as Fall Fests, family movie nights, craft fairs, Easter egg hunts, pictures with Santa, and more!
Our Experience With Children
We cherish the time spent with the babies and children of our family and friends. We find immense joy in being with children, seeing the world through their eyes, putting a smile on their faces, and watching them grow. We love a good theme, which often results in Rishi (a.k.a. "Uncle Ri Ri") dressing up in fun costumes for holidays to create lasting memories, such as the Easter Bunny, a St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun, and even a turkey for Thanksgiving! We eagerly look forward to bringing smiles to our future children's faces, filling every occasion with joy, and making our home a place of love and happiness. Our goal is to connect with those who are seeking a loving and supportive home for their child and can assure that your child will be cherished and well-cared for.
